Animal lover and founder Hannah grew up on a small-holding in the Herefordshire countryside. Surrounded by all creatures great and small, Hannah showed a particular affinity for dogs. Often told she could 'speak dog' it was no surprise when her first job was at a dog-boarding kennel. Here Hannah practised dog-language, taught basic training, and spent any spare moments with nervous dogs helping them feel safe and loved.
Since moving to London Hannah was keen to offer a more personal at-home service, and set up The Confident Dog to give dog owners peace of mind by offering a safe, friendly and professional dog walking and pet-sitting service.
Having gained a degree in Psychology, Hannah uses her knowledge of behaviour modification to transform dogs from naughty or nervous to confident and calm. Hannah is a student member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC), and is studying Clinical Animal Behaviour at the University of Edinburgh.
Hannah lives in Dalston, London, U.K. with her well-trained husband Alex, mischievous tortie cat Coco, and reformed rescue dog Ellie.
